5-9-2012 - In Honor of Teachers

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. As the husband of a teacher, I've seen firsthand the sacrifice, dedication and hard work it takes to educate the next generation. It's an important job, and we all know that teachers are special people. As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, it's important to stop and remember the teachers in our lives who worked so hard and gave so much simply because they cared. Teachers put a lot of time and emotional effort into thinking about the needs of their children. They spend hours preparing lesson plans and grading papers. When classes are over, many put in extra time coaching a sport or helping with other extracurricular activities. What a blessing ...
